Markéta Jánská (aka Katia Sarakova) was born on May 24, 1981 in Most, Czech Republic. She is a model.
She began modeling as a teenager and first appeared in European magazines, swimsuit calendars and TV commercials. At the age of 18, she began an adult model career under the name Katia Sarakova doing mostly topless shots. In 2001 she left her home in the Czech Republic to travel to western Europe. While there she got an modeling offer in Los Angeles. She accepted and moved to LA. After testing for Playboy, she was chosen to be Playmate of the month for July 2003. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is continuing to pursue her modeling career as well as a singing career.
She appeared in the 2005 Playmates at Play at the Playboy Mansion swimsuit calendar as calendar girl of October. The calendar was the inaugural Playmates at Play calendar and it was shot on the grounds of Playboy Mansion in 2004. It was Playboy’s first attempt at creating a non-nude swimsuit calendar featuring Playmates similar in style with those from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
